Practise sketches

Drawing people is one thing, drawing animals is another. Trying to get to grips with the amount of care and attention to detail you need to be able to draw animals and mythical creatures like this.
Character ideas courtesy of Mark Crilley, I defiantly recommend checking out his work on YouTube he has very helpful tips and advice to be able to draw in multiple styles.

Apocalyptic Mural

Loving working with graphite, however its messy business. Started to add the graphite to the inked city that id previously completed in drawing class. I think the graphite gives the explosion a lot more depth and creates a very dark atmosphere within the piece. #workingprogress

Sand animation

Egyptian themed sand animation, I tried to depict the long journey down the river Nile through the various towns and small villages along the way. I actually rather enjoyed working with sand, i might try and make another sand animation soon.

Stop Motion workshop

Green screening and lighting the stop motion set of "The inventor of happiness", hopefully the photos we took may be used in future advertising campaigns and posters for the movie.

Editing and lighting

After our workshop day, I took it upon myself to try and edit some old photos of mine to see what they looked like in different lighting, brightness and colour contrast. The photo to the right is the original, and to the left is the edited version. The results were actually better then I'd expected and produced a very "in season" picture, I think ill call it Autumn waterfall.

Clear film stock

I tried to smudge a mix of colours along the film stock to create this kind of rainbow effect
